Upon completion, every home is evaluated by an independent, third-party energy auditor to verify performance in alignment with the high standards established during the design process.

• Stained millwork is custom color-matched on site using Minwax® stain products.

Stair Systems

• Custom-milled stair systems featuring stained treads, painted risers, stained handrails and newel posts, and iron balusters, as determined by the home’s design.

Custom Amish Built In-House Cabinetry, Designed and Finished to the Highest Standards

Your cabinetry will be thoughtfully designed in collaboration with our design partners at Studio Onyx.

Our cabinetry is constructed entirely of plywood and offers both recessed and raised panel door styles in a wide selection of wood species, finishes, and configurations.

Standard full-overlay cabinetry doors are included, with inset door options available, allowing for a customized kitchen design that reflects your personal style and preferences.

All cabinetry throughout the home is equipped with Blum® full-extension, soft-close drawer glides and Blum® soft-close door hinges as standard features.

Our kitchens are further enhanced with detailed crown molding, custom mantel-style range hoods, double pull out waste bins, silverware divider, tray dividers over the refrigerator, custom-designed islands, and refined under-cabinet finish moldings.

Our countertop options include:

  • Mid level Quartz or Granite tops are included in the Kitchen, Primary Bath, and Butlers Pantry if applicable.
  • Quartz or Granite remnant tops are included in the Powder Room, and Secondary Baths.
  • Level A Quartz or Granite tops in the Laundry Room.

Additional Standard Features in Your John Hall Custom Home

  • All garages are fully insulated, drywalled, trimmed, and painted to provide a complete, finished appearance.
  • A single or double under-mount stainless steel sink with an air-switch garbage disposal is included on homes connected to municipal sewer systems. Homes on septic systems require a specially designed disposal and system configuration, which may involve an additional cost.
  • Pre-finished hardwood flooring is included in the foyer, great room, kitchen, breakfast nook, and powder room, with carpet and an 8-lb pad provided in designated areas.
  • An extensive selection of standard porcelain and ceramic tile is offered throughout the home in designated areas.
  • Homes feature a 9-foot foundation deep pour, along with 9-foot ceilings on both the first and second floors.
  • A gas line is provided at the rear of the home for a future grill or fire pit.
  • An automatic hot water recirculation system is installed at the primary bathroom to provide near-instant hot water to the shower.
  • Landscape requirements vary by neighborhood and are not included with the home.
