The Hall Family is not only dedicated to the Home Building Industry, we are dedicated to providing attainable housing for everyone.
John Hall Jr, sits on the St. Charles Housing Commission which helps oversee, protect, and create affordable housing in the City of St. Charles.
John Hall Homes has also helped donate and provide housing for a number of people in need throughout Kane County Illinois and St. Charles. Here is information on our current project, as well as past community projects:
OPERATION FINALLY HOME
We are currently partners with Operation Finally Home, a generous group of Builders, and our Trade Partners who are dedicated to providing free homes for our wounded heroes that have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. John Hall Homes is the first Builder outside of Texas to join the cause and take their worthy cause nationwide!
We currently have a piece of property that we are working with the City of St. Charles to have re-zoned to allow us to donate the lot, and build a home free of charge for a deserving family. ASSOCIATION FOR INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT GROUP HOME
John Hall Homes partnered with the Association for Individual Development to provide a Group Home in Aurora Illinois. This home was a safe-haven, and shelter for a group of mentally disabled people that have the pride, and the personal strength to live together, and work in our community. It was an extremely rewarding project.
THE DEVEREAUX FAMILY REMODELING PROJECT WITH THE HBAGFV
As President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Fox Valley in 2005, and 2006, John Hall Jr, received a heartfelt letter asking for help from a local St. Charles family looking for help to keep their son home.
The Devereaux Family had been caring for their son since he was tragically stricken severely physically and mentally disabled after taking routine vaccinations. As he approached his 21st birthday, the family faced losing their son to the state, because their home was not set up to handle a fully disabled person, and the state would stop providing disability.
Immediately John and his fellow HBAGFV leaders jumped in, and together they donated a full home addition that doubled the size of the family home, and made everything 100% accessible. The Devereaux family are now able to stay with their son, and provide the nurturing home he deserves.
CASA FOR KIDS
In 2002 we built this great little playhouse that is still some lucky little girl’s backyard that her parents won for her as part of a raffle drawing for Kane County’s CASA program for kids.
